Deadline for Registration of academic year 2017-18
To: All continuing students from cohort 2013,2014, 2015 and 2016
As we communicated to you in our previous announcements the deadline for registration is 16 th August 2017. We would also like to remind you about the information which was in our previous announcements and the consequences which will be applied if students fail to meet the deadline.
Students from cohort 2013 and 2014 who will not finish their CFA projects and Panel reviews by 31 st July 2017 will be required to pay the registration fee with the same deadline.
Please note the following
Payments are due to the GR bank account by August 16, 2017. (Generation Rwanda, Access bank, 1002460104165301- your full name and cohort must be on the bank receipt or it will not be credited to your record). No partial payments are allowed.
For those who have already paid you are requested to submit your bank receipt to the Registrar
If students do not pay their registration fees by August 16, they will lose access to CfA platform. This means that they will no longer be able to work on their projects until the fee is paid in full.
The only exceptions for payment are those students who are on a full scholarship and have had a work study that earned at least 50,000 RWF in credit. As explained in the sustainability memo from April 2016, their earnings will go toward the registration fees. The same is true for students who served as RAs in the month of June 2017. Your registration fees were waived due to an extra month of service.
Students with missed payments will not be allowed to enter the classroom until the fee is paid in full and will lose access to campus facilities as per the sustainability memo. Note that absences for missed classes will accrue and will be handled based Kepler Attendance Policy.
If students are in group house they will be required to move out. Also your stipend will be suspended.
We highly encourage you to pay before the deadline to avoid any issues with payment at the last minute.
