A group house at Kepler is a symbolic area where each student needs to feel him/herself safe and relaxed. It's a place that should be characterized by harmony and mutual respect among residents. Residents might abide by rules that guide the general atmosphere of the group house, and violation to the rules leads generally to a negative impact on a student career. Bringing an unannounced guest is one of Kepler policy violation, something prohibited by Kepler norms. Student caught in such violation can face several consequences whether minors or majors depending on the weight of the violation. Bringing an unannounced guest can also lead the student responsible to face some negative impacts in his/her academic progress and a loss of trust from the administration department.
To end this, I as a Kepler student, I would like to recommend some tips in order to keep the harmony and the spirit of a good student house:
Students should communicate a guest's visit to the Resident Advisors (RA) many hours before.
In case a student is sick, the Resident Advisor (RA) and Beata are the ones to whom the student might ask the permission to bring a guest.
