Holding off computer maintenance until further notice

Hello students,

Due to staffing changes in the Tech department, the Kepler technology team would like to announce to you that hardware maintenance for all students will put on hold as of Monday January 16th until further notice.

This means that if your computer gets a hardware issue, it will take a very long time before you can get it back. In order to make sure you don't miss out on the data you need to do your academic duties, please make sure you have done the following by Monday, January 16th.

1. Upload your academic data on drive so that you won't miss it when your computer crashes or make a backup of your data if you have the means to. It means you will spend sometime using another computer that has nothing but the internet and the softwares you need to do your work. This computer will be borrowed to you in case of hardware issue only.

2. Please read carefully, the Kepler technology policy again and see then schedule to drop off a broken computer, what you should expect and when you should get it back. Find the Tech policy here
