Hi every one,
We have received notice from a couple of students that they are being charged up to 1,000 RWF every time their stipend is transferred. This seems like a lot of the amount of money the students are receiving.
We have gone through all 5 major banks we are working with as long as the students accounts are concern. ACCESS BANK and GT BANK are the only banks open accounts for students with free of charge.
For those who wish, we are recommending to work with these banks.
Why Access bank?
- It offers free product to the students. Thus include free account maintenance, provides free Visa card and it brings them here on campus. For refugees, it accepts UNHCR registration proof and Kepler student ID.
Why GT Bank?
- It provides students product at zero cost with free account maintenance and free Master card individual student can pick it from the headquarter or it brings them here on campus. For refugee, it accepts UNHCR registration proof and Kepler student ID.
Member of these banks will come here at campus and meet with students who wish to work with them and open account for them.I will let you exactly the time they will come.
