Security and Respecting Your Neighbors
Security and Respecting Your Neighbors
Security
Please note there have been an increased number of thefts (especially by motos) in the neighborhood
Please DO NOT stand in the neighborhood and chat with your laptop bag. You put your safety and the laptop at risk
If you are going to be outside, please go home and secure your laptop or other valuables FIRST
When you are walking home with your laptop, have the bag on the side closest to the inside of the road (not the ouside where a moto can easily grab it and drive off)
Please use the Kepler Safe Walking program--it's there to ensure your safety!
Knocking and Individual Student Requests
Please ensure that you are keeping your voice low on the way home. Several neighbors have noted noise from Kepler students late at night. Let's make sure we continue to build a good reputation for the Kepler program by respecting your neighbors.
Knocking and Individual Student Requests
If a police or community security member knock on your door asking for a group of students or a particular student, please ask them to contact Emmanuel, dean of students for student information. This is the agreement we have worked out with community security, so they should be aware.
Reporting Concerns
If you have a safety issue or concern, please report it to Emmanuel, dean of students, immediately.
Thanks for your cooperation--let's make sure we all stay safe and contribute positively to our neighborhood!
