Education about Genocide (Closed)

In this course, students will have an over view about the origin or etymology of the term genocide, its root causes, genocide related terms, and the major stages through which it develops. Besides, students will go though and analyze the major genocide cases of the 20th century. They will also compare and contrast some genocide cases among others the Holocaust and genocide perpetrated against Tutsi in 1994. Much emphasis will be placed on the genocide perpetrated against Tutsi in 1994 to let students learn, discover and discuss about its root causes, and the factors that intensified it, how it developed, the attitude of the international community and how it was ended.
