Advanced Lab 2 - Starts November 16
Length: 4 weeks
Class times: Monday and Wednesday 2pm-5pm
Pre-requisite: Completed or currently enrolled in Introduction to Scientific Thinking
*Note: We will have a mandatory pre-class meeting on Wednesday, November 11th, 2pm-3pm to decide which experiment you will do.

Description: In this lab, you choose between pursuing a project in plastics recycling, which will culminate in creating your own mold for making plastic objects, pursuing a project in advanced electronics, which will culminate in creating a water level tester, OR pursuing a project in solar energy, which will culminate in creating and evaluating a low-efficiency solar cell. Students may retake this module once to pursue the other project.
Advanced Lab 1 - Starts November 24
Length: 4 weeks
Class times: Tuesday and Thursday 9am-12pm
Pre-requisite: Completed or currently enrolled in Introduction to Scientific Thinking

Description: In this lab, you choose between pursuing a project in electronics recycling, which will culminate in building a radio or a digital measurement device OR pursuing a project in electrochemistry, which will culminate in creating your own battery or a procedure for making rust-free steel. Students may retake this module once to pursue the other project.
