Student Building Manager Position
Job Description
Kepler is looking for students to serve as school building managers for an after-hour and weekend student study space. Student building managers will be responsible for maintaining the security, well-being, and integrity of the student study space.
1. Duties will include:
Opening and closing the space at designated times
Monitoring the responsible usage of the space by all students
Delivering and enforcing study space rules
Reporting to staff any damage or misuse of the property
Communicating the contact information and normal business hours of Kepler to visitors
Ensure space is set up for morning classes
2. Qualifications & Eligibility
Outstanding moral and interpersonal skills
Clear communication skills
Must not have a work study
Detail-oriented
Be a student from Cohort 2013, 2014 or 2015
Demonstrated leadership and respect among peers and staff
3. Compensation
500 RWF / hour
Should be available to work a minimum of 5 hours, with a possibility of more [depending on availability]
Shift hours available [1 building manager “on” at a time; exact shifts TBD & flexible]
Monday - Friday: 5pm to 11pm
Saturday- Sunday: 10am to 11pm
