Kepler Safety Associate
Job Description
Kepler is looking for two students to work as Kepler Safety Associates during a period of three months. This work study requires a commitment of 20 hours per week.
1. Job responsibilities
Designing and implementing a daily safe walking program (so that no student has to walk home alone)
Conducting an analysis of safety on campus and safety in student houses and making recommendations to Kepler administration
Conducting an analysis on the effectiveness of KK security operations and making recommendations to Kepler administration
Working with the summer bridge program student dean (Emmanuel) on any safety issues on campus
2. Qualifications, Eligibility & Skills
Detail-oriented
In a good academic standing (must be maintained throughout the job)
Must have no other work study
Be a Kepler Student of any cohort (2013, 2014 or 2015)
Good communication skills
Creative/critical thinker
Good at time management
